HEY! Finally an update from ol' Alex. I'm sure you were all waiting with pated breath. So I'm living in Tyler with Jeremy, Drew and Paul. It's awesome. Four guys in a two bedroom apartment, ye-a. So thats all cool. Im working construction. Not a big fan of it but it's good pay. Katie and I are getting married in November. Crazy stuff. The planning, the ceremony, the flowers, the clothes, invitations, reception, food, etc. So much stuff to plan but it doesnt matter cause i'm marrying and planning all this with the most amazing woman God ever put on this earth (aww). So thats my life nowadays. God has blessed me so much with friends, work, a place to live, food to eat. How could i not be happy. As Andrew Peterson put it "I know that His love is that same cause the sun came up today". God's love and blessings are everywhere, anyways thats my two cents. Its amazing how interestingly lucid one can be whilst (thats for you bobby) typing an update at the library. Laters.

Oh melancholy day... Its my last day working at Sagemont and living in houston. I cleared my office last night. So sad! It really sucks cause so much has happened in the past year and a half that I've lived in Houston. Some bad, some good, some stupid, some really stupid, some really really... you get the idea. But so much awesome stuff has happened too that part of me doesnt want to leave. I think houston is going to be one of those places that i'll always come back. ahhhh, so many memories. God has put some amazing people in my life, most probably won't read this but i gotta give some shout outs.

Matt - dude you're crazy awesome. We've seen each other in some pretty jacked up situations and somehow God seems to use us to bring each other up. I'm wating to camp-out. 16 acres man!

Josh - Keep sharing the gospel, you have a passion for the word that i envy. keep those youth in line this summer.

Dawkins - Wow, the first night i went to amc with ya'll i couldnt believe the guts you had. You just let God move and it was awesome. keep going man.

Ronnie - there arent words to describe the humility you have, but i have to brag on you. You beam the love of Jesus wherever you go and you give of yourself without any thought about your own wellbeing. You gave me a place to minister right when i needed it. I can't thank you enough. I'll be praying for you at Moody.

Bob - We talked about being roomates in college ever since 6th grade. Well it happened and i think it worked out awesome. I thank God for giving me such an awesome friend.

Lance - thank you, i dont know what else to say but thank you for everything. God has given you a gift of wisdom and you use it in such a humble, servant-like way. You'll never know what an impact you've made on me. so thanks

Hey hey, one more week of school and i am done! I have have one paper to write and four finals to take and then i am a junior... i think. Alex has had to drop a few classes in his day so he may not be at junior level but he's gunna say he is because it makes him feel better.

Oh, way cool news. I have an interview at Lowes in Palestine on Friday. Im applying as a customer service dude. I hope it goes well. I get to put on a tie and nice pants and i love doing that. So if i get the job i can probably get a nice discount on lumber and stuff. ooo.

On Sunday katie, matt, lauren, justin, robert, another girl, and i went to galveston and enjoyed a day on the beach whilst shivering in cold water. It was really fun though.

Oh, i have an online photo album now. It's at http://photobucket.com/albums/v691/artindall/. For those of you who are Stu Platt fans like myself there are some great pics of him on there. I love you Stu! Also, i put the engagement pictures up today. Just click on the "Proposal Night" album.

I'm gone

Ok, it is time to write an original post. I am officially the happiest man in the world. Last weekend was amazing so i have decided to grace you all with the all the girly details surrounding the whole proposal to my fiancee (the girl is the fiancee, guys are fiance, both pronounced the same though, ain't that cool).

Saturday morning some guys and i helped Ryan move to an apartment. Lots of fun. Thowing things out of car windows, running around at intersections. it was a blast and a half. I left houston at 11am and got to crockett around 1pm. I picked up Zach at his place and we headed to Tyler (after a quick stop to see my parents). We got to Tyler around 4pm and Katie still had no idea i was coming. She was at work and her friends were supposed to pick her up from work at 6 to keep her busy for a couple hours while Zach and I decked her apartment out with candles and roses and anything else that looked proposalish. There were a few hickups in the plan but 8pm finally came. Katie walked in the door and saw the trail of rose petals to her room. She walked in and i was sitting on the end of her bed and started playing the song i wrote for her. After the song, on cue, her friends came in and i got down on a knee, said something sweet and asked her to marry me. She said yes! Afterwards we went to eat with a bunch of people and it was really fun... the end.

We have spent that past week trying to figure out logistics and stuff as far as when, where, how etc. Its kinda weird. I spent over an hour at barnes and noble pouring through weddng book tying to figure out just what im supposed to do. Its kinda awesome. My dream wedding would be about 20 people on a beach at sunset. Small, easy, inexpensive, memorable, what else could a guy want. Oh well.

Thats about it i guess. If you read this far, you are awesome. If not, you are awesome too but i guess you wont know it.... hmm... (sometimes i really dont know how to end a post. later, bye, see ya, peace out home fool. i dunno just insert the one you like best here). _____________!!
